Good value for the price. My room the faucet didn't have cold water. Only warm and scalding. Lady at the front desk was rude arrogant entitled Definitely wasn't interested in doing business customer service and making money. Wouldn't answer the phone wouldn't answer questions to busy to get back to her TV show. The mom didn't see much better glared at me the whole time. Entitled family that doesn't want to work be of customer service or help people. Very rude. But other than that the value was decent. I only had to deal with them for a few seconds. The cleaning lady was nice. I would probably go back. Bed was comfortable. TV was great. AC worked well which is rare in hotels these days. I could put up with the 5 seconds of nonsense dealing with the rude obnoxious arrogance at the front desk. To get two nights for $140 on a weekend. It was still worth it. I guess you get what you pay for :-)

We came here a few years back in 2021 during the winter storm in February. Electricity was out all over. We called this place and I asked the guy who answered if they were full, his response was come and see. My mom was hesitant. A few hours later after driving around looking for a room, I called back. The same guy answered and said to come see. When we got there, they had two rooms available. We booked both rooms for a few nights.so grateful we found a place that was warm with hot running water and Internet. The guy at the front loved my name and he remembered it, as that's really uncommon. Anyway, God Bless him wherever he is

Traveling back home to Virginia to Texas when there was a problem with the lights on our boat. Found Southern Inn. Not much difference on the outside, but when we went to our room, boy were we surprised!! They have remodeled & room was beautiful! Clean, great service. Owner was charming! We will come by again I'm sure!

I have no complaints about this location. It was tucked away from the city traffic. Outside the building looked a bit outdated, but our rooms were very updated sleek, and comfortable. The bed and pillows felt like a cloud! Our A/C also worked well. My husband ended up turning the temp higher because even he got cold in the middle of the night. They DO accept pets for an additional fee for those looking for a pet friendly location. This is a perk as we sometimes travel with a dog. The only down fall we noticed was there was no guest shampoo in the room. It's not a big issue for us as we travel with more than enough toiletries while on business, but something I'd point out.

Very nice hotel and friendly people running it. Rooms were basic but very clean and nice. Quiet area and got a good nights sleep. FYI they do not allow pets. Great value

Great place the owners were very nice. They do need to put signs on both sides so you can find it a little easier. The room very clean and cozy. Price wasn't bad for two people 89.00 two beds a single was 75.00. Overall a great place for a night.

The room was very clean and the owner was very nice and friendly. I read other reviews before stopping and decided to check it out, despite the less than stellar reviews. I would recommend to anyone passing through for the night or a day or two for a very good price.

Nice updated motel. Owners took off the old carpet and replaced it with new wood tile. Water pressure is good. Bed is comfortable. Guy at front desk is real easy going and made me feel welcome.
